2. Log In to Your Trip.com Account

3. Search for Your Hotel or Flight

Important: the promo code field does not appear until you reach the booking/payment page. Do not worry if you cannot find it during the search phase.
4. Enter Your Promo Code at Checkout
After selecting your room or flight and clicking "Book Now," you will reach the order confirmation or payment page. Look for one of these elements:
- On desktop: A "Promo Code" or "Coupon Code" field in the price summary panel on the right side of the page.
- On mobile app: Scroll down on the booking page to find "Coupons & Credits" — tap to expand and enter your code.
- In the price breakdown: Sometimes shown as an expandable "+" next to the total price.
Type or paste the code exactly as provided — these are case-sensitive. Click "Apply" and verify the discount is reflected in the updated total.
5. Verify the Discount and Complete Booking
After applying the code, the new total should appear immediately. Verify:
- The discount amount matches what was advertised (e.g., "10% off" or "$20 off")
- The code was applied to the correct item (hotel or flight, not just service fees)
- No other required conditions are missing (minimum spend, specific dates)
Once the discount is confirmed, complete the rest of the booking — enter guest details, select payment method, and confirm. The discount is locked in the moment you confirm the booking.
6. What to Do If the Code Does Not Work
If your Trip.com promo code is not being accepted, check these common issues:
- Expired code: Check the expiry date. Our codes page always shows the valid-until date.
- Wrong booking type: Some codes apply only to hotels, not flights, or only to specific room categories.
- Minimum spend: Many codes require a minimum booking value (e.g., "$200+ spend").
- Single use per account: If you have already used the code on a previous booking, it will not work again.
- Region restriction: Some codes are market-specific (HK, SG, MY only).
- Not logged in: Confirm your account is active and you are logged in.
